Date and Time of Images

Denise Carlton Dec 13, 2017 01:57AM AEDT

A few times, as I was moving an image from the right side of the workspace (where a user views and makes a selection from a series of photos), a small population-up window would appear showing the date and time of the image. It happened so quickly and unexpectedly that I could never figure out what I was doing to make the window appear.

There are times when I"d like to check information about an image without having to go into Photos, locate the image, and then check on the little "I" circle. Can you suggest how to purposely make the above mentioned pop-up appear.

Hello there Denise,

Thanks for your question

All you need to do is mouse hover over the image you wish to check – wait a few seconds – and information regarding the file including the date will appear.

Hope this helps,
