importing a lot of images

james stilton Dec 10, 2014 11:47AM AEDT

hi
the way i use comic life is to put all of the images i made (in another program) each on one page. so i have for instance 150 single pages, with each a full page image. now importing these images is time consuming in itself. is there some way to automatically import a whole bunch of images and put them each on their separate page?
if not, is there at least a way to make a bunch of empty pages based on a template i made?

thank you
james

Hello there James.

Thanks for your message.

Yes, it can be done.

1. Create a page that has one large panel in it. Make it the size and position that you want it to be for all your pages.
2. Then go to File > Save As Template… Name it something memorable (i.e., Single Panel).
3. Go to File > New from Template Chooser…
4. Under the My Templates > Misc category, find your “Single Panel” Template. Click “Choose”.
5. Using the “Explorer” tab (bottom right) navigate to the folder that you have stored your 150 single images.
6. Click on the “Template Pages” tab (middle on right side of screen), and you should see the page template you created.
7. Then go to: File > Autoflow Images
8. And DONE! :)

Please Note: You may get a “Creating Comic (Not Responding)” error appear on the screen. But you should hear a slight clicking/tapping noise, if so, just wait awhile and the 150 images will be placed on the page.

Hope this helps!
