Adding Text Bubble, Only, to Photo

Thomas Robison Dec 08, 2014 09:25PM AEDT

I have a photo in Aperture, and all I want to do is add a text bubble to it, and then reimport to Aperture. I don't really want a "page/panel" present. Is there a way to do this?

Hello there Thomas,

You would need to create a page size the same size as the image. And then export it out like that.
The easiest way to do that, is to find the the dimensions of the image in Aperture, and in Comic Life go to File > Page Setup… And create the page to match the photo.
Then drop the image to the page, then go to Format > Resize Image to Actual Size. Then add your balloon, and then export out at 72 dpi JPG or PNG.

OR you can use one of the photo size page sizes in File > Page Setup… drop the image in, and resize it to fill the page. Overlapping outside the page will probably occur.
Then add your balloon, and export out at 300 dpi JPG.

Hope this helps!
